ISLA is delighted to announce that its Annual Securities 麻豆影视传媒 & Collateral Management Conference is set to return to the EPIC SANA Lisboa Hotel, Lisbon between 15-18 June 2026.
The conference will, for the first time be held over four days, kicking off with a Monday evening, Connect & Cocktails reception, giving early arrivals the opportunity to connect and network. The agenda officially commences on Tuesday 16 June and will feature a mix of keynote presentations, panel discussions and networking events.
Over the last few years, our agendas have talked extensively about the evolution of our markets: the shift from just securities lending to securities financing where liquidity is now traded across many formats and venues, as well as the expansion of capital efficiencies and cost changing supply and demand dynamics which are impacting the traditional value-chain. More recently, we saw the need for global strategies to compliment regional dynamics for firms to remain competitive. Finally, the arrival of new technologies is also re-shaping the way that the industry trades.
As we consider 2026 and the continued desire for EMEA to develop fully integrated capital markets ecosystems, we will look at the importance of alignment, simplification, and standardisation in securities finance. Evaluating the liquidity supply, trading structures, platform capabilities and the technology; it is important that market participants review operating models, so they don鈥檛 inadvertently create further fragmentation in the name of quick advancements.
