Tim Smith has left FIS, according to industry sources.
Smith, who joined FIS (formerly SunGard) in July 2008, most recently served as executive vice president of Astec Analytics.
He has experience in the banking, broking, information technology and services industry. In addition, he has a broad knowledge across capital markets, asset management, custodian banks, prime brokerage and financial technology.
Previously, Smith served as president of Data Explorers.
