Delta Capita grows SFTR team

Delta Capita has added Andrew Hibberd to its Securities Financing Transactions Regulation (SFTR) test consortium team, based in London.

In his new role as a consultant for the consortium, Hibberd will help to define SFTR business scenarios and regulatory traceability for the industry standard test pack.

Hibberd will report to , to lead Delta Capita鈥檚 SFTR test consortium technical implementation.

Most recently Hibberd served as a senior business analyst at HSBC and also brings experience from securities lending trading roles at ING, Dresdner Kleinwort and Merrill Lynch.

The SFTR test consortium was formed by Delta Capita with 10 tier-one banks and agent lenders to help the securities finance industry prepare for SFTR compliance.

Delta Capita created a user acceptance testing test pack spanning all business scenarios, with two-way traceability to the regulatory technical standards and implementing technical standards
codified industry best-practice and the European Securities and Markets Authority validation rules.

According to Delta Capita, the pack contains test trades and reference data, along with expected trade repository-ready results, to drive industry testing.

The pack is being utilised by the to test its SFTR transaction reporting, among others.
