Clearstream鈥檚 Global Securities Financing (GSF) business contracted 4 per cent year-over-year to 鈧�550.6 billion in volume outstanding for February, according to its monthly figures.
The central securities depository also recorded a YoY decrease for its GSF business鈥� year-to-date figures, falling 3 per cent to 鈧�546.5 billion.
The total assets under custody held in Clearstream increased by 3 per cent YoY to 鈧�17,207 billion for February. Year-to-date figures for 2023 also saw improvements, with monthly figures indicating a 2 per cent rise to 鈧�17,104 billion for assets under custody.
Clearstream鈥檚 Investment Funds Services (IFS) business faced declines with securities deposits down 3 per cent YoY to 鈧�3,227 billion and the number of transactions processed by the business dropping 13 per cent YoY to 鈧�3.6 million.
