Provable Markets has appointed Matthew Lilien as managing director, head of sales and business development.

Based in New York, he will report to Matt Cohen, CEO of Provable Markets.

Lilien moves to the firm from Pirum, where he spent almost five years, working most recently as North American head of sales and business development.

Prior to his time at Pirum, Lilien spent more than 14 years at J.P. Morgan, holding positions such as vice president of international equity finance, hedge fund credit associate, and public finance analyst.

Commenting on the acquisition, Provable Markets states: 鈥淢att will play a pivotal role in helping clients unlock the full potential of our market infrastructure platform.鈥

Cohen adds: "Matt joins us at a pivotal moment in our growth as a firm.

"Alongside the recent addition of Dan McGuiggin, the Provable team continues to expand its expertise, deepen its experience, and reinforce core values that enable us to deliver maximum value and impact from our rapidly expanding product suite for both current and future customers."

Provable Markets is a vertically integrated alternative trading system, focused on enhancing front-to-back efficiency in securities financing markets and related post-trade market structure.
