Andy Ross has departed Standard Chartered as global head of prime and financing, Financing and Securities Services (FSS).

During his three-year appointment within the bank鈥檚 London office, Ross also served as head of Financial Markets, UK.

Ross is a seasoned business leader and entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry.

He joined Standard Chartered from CurveGlobal, where he acted as CEO while also serving as a member of the capital markets leadership team at the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG).

Notably, he spent 16 years in a number of senior management positions at Morgan Stanley, where he was most recently European head of OTC clearing.

Commenting on his departure via an online statement, Ross says: 鈥淲hile I can no longer speak for SCB, I have every confidence that the Prime business will continue to go from strength to strength.

鈥淚've thoroughly enjoyed working with both clients and colleagues over the years 鈥 thank you all for making it such a rewarding experience. I'm proud of what we've done together.

鈥淚'll be taking some time to recharge with a healthy bit of skiing before sharing my next plans in the New Year. Watch this space!鈥
