Clearstream鈥檚 global securities financing (GSF) business has revealed a 31 per cent increase year-on-year (YoY) for volume outstanding, generating 鈧�925 billion in January, according to recent monthly figures.
International business securities deposits through the firm鈥檚 ICSD have increased 6 per cent YoY to 鈧�9,797 billion for January, with the number of transactions increasing 12 per cent to 10 million.
Looking at domestic business for Clearstream鈥檚 Luxembourg CSD and German CSD, securities deposits rose 9 per cent YoY to 鈧�7,163 billion, with the number of transactions increasing 24 per cent to 21 million.
For Investment Funds Services, securities deposits reached 鈧�4,619 billion 鈥� a 13 per cent YoY increase with a 21 per cent increase in the number of transactions to 7 million.
For assets under custody, recent figures report an 8 per cent YoY increase in January to 鈧�21,579 billion.
