Clear Street has expanded the team with two new hires, Vito Laurenzano and Lou Caramanica.

Based in New York, Laurenzano joins as managing director of broker-dealer sales, where he will focus on growth and client relationships across the clearing business.

In his new role, he will report to Chris Tufano, head of clearing.

Prior to joining Clear Street, Laurenzano spent 33 years at Bank of America, where he led broker-dealer sales and clearing solutions across Global Markets & Banking.

Also based in New York, Caramanica joins as managing director, where he will focus on Clear Street's broker-dealer client offering, also reporting to Tufano.

He brings 34 years in broker-dealer clearing, prime services, and financial technology.

Most recently, he was positioned at Goldman Sachs as global head of Prime Services Custody and Platform Engineering, where he built and scaled the firm's global clearing platform across multiple asset classes.

The two hires signal Clear Street's continued push into the professional clearing market, which the firm entered in 2024 as the first new entrant in close to a decade.
