Capitolis appoints Manickam as CTO

Capitolis has hired Murugun Manickam as chief technology officer (CTO).
Reporting to Okan Pekin, president of Capitolis, Manickam will lead Capitolis鈥 global engineering organisation and its data and AI strategy.
Manickam brings 28 years of experience, predominantly in global financial markets.
He joins the company from Bank of America, where he was managing director and global head of Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities (FICC), macro trade management, and emerging markets technology.
During his 17-year tenure, his responsibilities included managing FX, fixed income, credit, rates, and emerging markets technology, as well as updating trading infrastructure, legacy platforms, and distributed ledger systems.
Earlier in his career, he held technology leadership roles at Merrill Lynch and General Reinsurance.
