Charlie Badran, Head of AXA Financing within the Trading, Securities Financing and derivatives department (TSF-D) has been for more than 18 years at BNPP Asset Management (ex AXA-IM). Charlie is in charge of the Repo and financing activity globally.

Prior to joining AXA IM, Charlie worked in London at Bloomberg as a trading system sales covering both France and the Middle East. Before that, he worked in a French investment bank as a Repo and Bond trader in Paris and Luxembourg.

Furthermore, Charlie Badran seats on the governing board of the International Capital Market Association (ICMA) European Repo and Collateral Council (ERCC).

Charlie Badran holds a MSc in Mathematics from University of Nice Sophia Antipolis and a MSc in Science and management from NEOMA Business School.

Matthieu Baudoin is a seasoned fintech leader in securities finance and collateral management, bringing more than 25 years of industry leadership to the global financial markets. He has built his career shaping platforms that help financial institutions unlock collateral efficiency, manage risk, and drive performance at scale.

A longstanding leader at FIS, Matthieu joined the firm 13 years ago and now heads Product Management for the FIS Securities Â鶹ӰÊÓ´«Ã½ Trading and Collateral (SFTC) platform. SFTC is a marketleading, nextgeneration solution designed to seamlessly integrate securities finance trading with sophisticated collateral optimization—empowering clients to operate more efficiently in an increasingly complex market environment.

Serving more than 250 clients worldwide, FIS is the leader in securities finance and collateral technology and services. Its diverse client community spans brokerdealers, agent lenders, asset managers, insurance companies, and exchanges, all relying on FIS to support missioncritical operations and connectivity.

Sanaa Clausse BenAbdelhadi is the Senior Director and Head of Business Development for Membership and Events Sponsorship at the International Capital Market Association (ICMA). She holds global responsibility for driving membership growth, engagement, and retention, while also securing sponsorships across ICMA's event portfolio.

A key focus of her executive mandate is spearheading ICMA’s strategic initiatives and engagement across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. This involves leading commercial activity and, critically, cultivating robust collaborations with regulators, policy-makers, and regional trade associations to advance local capital market development.

Ms. Clausse BenAbdelhadi is a regular speaker on panels focused on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and is a strong proponent of social mobility within the financial industry. She is also an active and committed member of the ICMA Women's Network since its inception.

Since joining ICMA in 2010, she has been instrumental in promoting ICMA's mission across new global markets. Prior to her current role, she served as an Equity Sales Executive at Markit (now S&P Global Market Intelligence). She began her career in 2005 as a Sales Executive for Acxiom, a pioneer in data-driven marketing, operating out of the firm's European offices in Paris and London.

She holds a Master’s degree in Langues Étrangères Appliquées (Business Management in Foreign Languages – French, English, and Spanish) with a major in Corporate Communications from the Université Paris IV Sorbonne. She further completed a Master Grandes Écoles, specialising in Sales, Marketing & Corporate Communications, from NEOMA Business School in Reims, France.

Madhur is the Head of HSBC’s Securities Services business in Saudi Arabia and also oversees Fund Services related initiatives for HSBC across the region.

He is a qualified lawyer, Chartered Accountant, Chartered Global Management Accountant and has previously worked in Securities Services and Financial Institutional Group Relationship Coverage roles in HSBC in Oman, Bahrain and India. Madhur has over 23 years of work experience of which a significant portion is in leadership and client facing roles.

Madhur joined the HSBC team in Saudi Arabia in December 2014, and along with his team on the ground, has overseen the substantial growth of the business in Saudi and has also closely been closely involved in the various market changes that are taking place in the capital markets space in Saudi Arabia.

He is also the Chairperson of the industry working group of custody sub-committee formed under the Capital Markets Institutions Framework.

Ross is responsible for the management of Securities Lending & Repo clients, globally, within the Securities Services business of BNP Paribas, and has worked in the financial services industry for over 30 years, specialising in the securities finance and collateral management industry since 2001. Before joining BNP Paribas, Ross held similar positions with eSecLending, BNY Mellon and JPMorgan

Darren is Head of Broadridge’s Global Securities Â鶹ӰÊÓ´«Ã½ and Collateral Management solutions business unit a senior member of the Capital Markets Leadership team within Broadridge.

His entrepreneurial attitude to seeking innovative solutions for market problems has Darren continually spearheading new approaches to streamline the Securities Â鶹ӰÊÓ´«Ã½ industry. Darren has over 25 years’ experience in the Securities Â鶹ӰÊÓ´«Ã½ domain and has been with Broadridge since the acquisition of 4sight in 2016.

From 4sights beginning in 2003 Darren has served in a number of operational, delivery and leadership roles, including Vice President of Solution Delivery.

He is a business champion for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion facilitating various initiatives across Broadridge.

Ernst Dolce is the CEO and co-founder of Banqora, with over 20 years of experience in the financial industry. He has a proven track record of generating revenue across a €300 billion securities financing portfolio and developing innovative solutions for banks, insurers, pension funds, hedge funds, and asset managers.

Before founding Banqora, Ernst led AXA IM’s Liquidity Solutions business and trading activities in repo and securities lending (2019–2022). He previously held senior roles at AXA IM, including Head of Structuring and Solutions Development (2016–2019), Senior Structurer (2013–2015), and Senior Investment Risk Manager (2006–2013). Earlier in his career, he was a Quantitative Analyst at CDC IXIS AM and QuantElligence.

Ernst holds an MSc in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Lyon II and an MSc in Financial Engineering from ESLSCA Paris.

Farrah joined the International Securities Lending Association (ISLA) in September 2019 and is Director of Regulatory Affairs within the Regulation & Market Practice group.

Farrah provides invaluable support to this strategically important part of the Association’s focus, by working with the various workstream coordinators to monitor and assess EMEA financial regulations, including Tax, that have potential to impact the securities lending market.

Farrah reviews regulatory implementation, consultations and manages industry working groups, whilst monitoring updates from policy makers & National Competent Authorities to maintain best practice documentation.

Prior to ISLA, Farrah occupied client service and desk support roles within derivatives and securities lending middle office, as well as in asset servicing operations, for J.P Morgan Chase.

Ruth has worked for MUFG Securities for nearly 13 years in Secured Financing (Repo and Stock Lending) in both trading and sales roles. In November 2024, she relocated to Hong Kong to build out the Repo and SBL business in the APAC region.

Ruth works across the international Securities entities, coordinating with affiliates like MUBK, MUTB and most significantly MUMSS, where she is working with the onshore management to set up a non-JGB Repo desk in Tokyo. In addition to the internal MUFG committees, advisory and project groups, Ruth is involved in a number of external Industry Working Groups - she is a board advisor for PASLA (Pan Asia Stock Lending Association), a committee member of the ICMA (International Capital Markets Association) future leaders group, a senior participant in the external ‘Women in Securities Â鶹ӰÊÓ´«Ã½â€™ and ‘100 Women in Â鶹ӰÊÓ´«Ã½â€™, part of the ICMA Bond Market Liquidity Group, the LCH Collateral Advisory Group, the ISLA T+1 accelerated settlement taskforce as well as being a freeman of the City of London as a member of the Worshipful Company of International Bankers.

Michele has 20 years of financial services experience, with 12+ years as a Collateral Management expert, developing deep expertise in platform development and strategic solutions for the J.P. Morgan Triparty business. His primary focus at J.P. Morgan is on Asset Mobilisation and Optimisation of collateral, ensuring clients achieve maximum efficiency and flexibility in their collateral management processes.

Michele plays a pivotal role in the ongoing design, development, and enhancement of J.P. Morgan’s Triparty platform, driving innovation and operational excellence. In the past year, Michele has worked on a J.P. Morgan Triparty onshore Saudi collateral management product, expanding the market footprint of the Triparty product to now operate in 36 markets, supporting the evolving needs of global clients and clients in the MENA region.

Michele’s career is defined by a commitment to delivering robust, client-centric solutions and advancing the global collateral management landscape through technology and market expertise.

With over three decades at the sharp end of repo and fixed income markets, Gabriele Frediani brings heavyweight experience from the likes of the World Bank, Euroclear, Eurex Repo/Deutsche Börse, MTS—and most recently, from shaping the UN-backed African repo initiative, the Liquidity & Sustainability Facility.

Now, he’s taking the reins as Head of Business Growth at SFTR data specialist London Reporting House, where he’ll drive an ambitious growth strategy across global markets.

A familiar face—and voice—on the international conference circuit, Gabriele is known for his no-nonsense insights and sharp moderation, regularly taking the stage as expert speaker, panel chair or moderator at major industry events worldwide.

Alistair joined ISLA in January 2024 as Director – Business Development.

Alistair is responsible for ensuring ISLA’s services meets the needs and requirements of our member firms across Europe, Middle East & Africa. Alistair leads on strengthening relationships with ISLA’s current member firms, identifying growth opportunities across the securities finance landscape, and developing services and strategic partnerships that enhance ISLA’s memberships offer.

Alistair brings extensive experience of securities lending from both a buy and sell side perspective. Before joining ISLA, Alistair was Director of EMEA Sales at Baton where he was responsible for growing Baton’s solutions in the region. Prior to Baton, Alistair built experience across financial services, working at some of the largest and most respected institutions in the world including Bank of New York Mellon, BlackRock, and UBS.

Neelan Pavan is a seasoned financial services professional with over 15 years of expertise specializing in securities finance, fixed income, and post-trade product management. Currently, he serves as a Technical Product Manager on the Post‑Trade Product team at MarketAxess in London, where he drives innovation in trade matching and regulatory reporting solutions tailored for near‑real‑time exception detection and resolution.

Previously, Neelan built his credentials as Product Manager for Fixed Income & Repo at Pirum Systems (2017–2023), developing market-leading capabilities for collateral and risk management. His earlier tenure at Commerzbank AG (2009–2015) culminated in his role as Assistant Vice President covering short‑term interest rates and repo operations. He also held positions at Dresdner Kleinwort, Deutsche Bank, and the Bank of England.

Dual-qualified senior lawyer (Solicitor (England & Wales) and Attorney (New York State) with broad UAE and Saudi Arabian financial regulatory, FinTech, payments and commercial contract experience.

Marton Szigeti is the Clearstream Global Head of Banking, Funding and Financing. He joined Clearstream in July 2020 as the Head of Sales for the UK and Americas prior to moving into his current position. Prior to joining Clearstream, Marton spent 7 years at Deutsche Bank, where he held a variety of senior roles including Managing Director, Global Head of Sales for Securities Services and was most recently Managing Director, Head of Platform Sales for Global Markets. During his time at Deutsche Bank, Marton co-chaired the Capital and Risk Committee for the Global Transaction Bank where he was responsible for managing the balance sheet and financial and non-financial risk for all institutional clients. Prior to this he spent time at Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan where he focused on market structure strategy and principal strategic investments. Marton holds a degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from RMIT.

Andrew is responsible for the distribution of our Agency Securities Â鶹ӰÊÓ´«Ã½ and Collateral management solutions in the Middle East, based in Dubai, UAE.

Andrew is focused on building out our client base across MENA. He is concentrating not only on the traditional securities lending product but also on the range of Alternative solutions that are growing in prevalence amongst the buy-side. More recently he has been leading the charge in trying to uncover a more diverse pool of supply, focussing on new client segments such as Retail Aggregators.

He utilises his knowledge and technical understanding of the product and solutions available to support the funding, financing and optimisation needs of our client base which includes pension funds, asset managers, insurance companies and banks.

Andrew joined J.P. Morgan in 2018 based in London covering the UK and various EMEA markets.

Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, Andrew worked for Deutsche Bank, in London for 8 years. He holds a B.A. (Honours) in Industrial Economics from The University of Nottingham.
