Paralympic champion to close ISLA 2017

Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson, the UK鈥檚 most successful paralympic athlete, will be closing out the International Securities Lending Association鈥檚 conference in Berlin.
Grey-Thompson, who won 11 gold and four silver medals, as well as a bronze, across five Paralympic Games as part of the British Wheelchair Racing Squad, will be speaking at 12:30pm on 22 June.
This year鈥檚 ISLA conference, which will be held in Berlin鈥檚 Ritz Carlton Hotel, focuses on five key topics: collateral management; conduct and accountability; regulations; key market developments and dynamics; and the German market and economy.
ISLA has also added educational sessions to this year's conference, as well as a daily newsletter, run in partnership with Securities Lending Times, which will include conference news and commentary, as well as interviews with delegates and speakers.
The association has also secured the European Central Bank鈥檚 (ECB) Marc Bayle de Jess茅 as the opening keynote speaker.
Jess茅, who leads the general market infrastructure and payments directorate at the ECB, will open proceedings on 20 June.
