G.H. Financials, a clearing partner and non-bank Futures Commissions Merchant (FCM), has deployed Baton Systems鈥 intraday liquidity management platform.
The implementation brings together Baton鈥檚 Balance Manager and Exposure Manager capabilities to provide a single, near-real-time view of cash balances, margin requirements, and collateral on deposit spanning 100 nostro, central counterparty, and carry broker accounts.
The firm provides teams across G.H. Financials with a unified view of where funds are held, where margin obligations exist, and whether pledged collateral is sufficient at each venue.
According to the firm, deployment establishes the trusted data foundation FCMs require to bridge legacy infrastructure with the demands of 24/7 tokenised collateral.
Kieran O'Regan, chief financial officer, G.H. Financials, says: 鈥淲e made a deliberate decision to invest in infrastructure that would give us a genuine competitive advantage as we scale.
鈥淗aving a consolidated, near real-time view of our cash positions and margin requirements across every account, currency, and legal entity, has significantly improved our liquidity management.
鈥淲e can now make confident funding decisions faster and more accurately anticipate and proactively address upcoming liquidity needs. Baton delivered those capabilities quickly, built in a way that will support our expanding business.鈥濃
By combining nostro positions with CCP and carry broker exposure data in one integrated interface, funding decisions across multiple currencies, legal entities, and time zones can be made with greater speed, says Baton.
Built to expand incrementally, the platform has been designed to scale as G.H. Financials adds new venues and flows to its clearing business.
Arjun Jayaram, founder and chief executive, Baton Systems, adds: 鈥淭he data fragmentation problem does not get easier as you scale, it gets harder.
鈥淭he solution we delivered to G.H. Financials uses the same core institutional-grade infrastructure we deploy at G-SIBs, extended to meet the needs of a non-bank FCM operating at serious scale.鈥
