OCC welcomes IEX as exchange participant

The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) will provide central counterparty clearing and settlement services for IEX Options, a new options exchange from Investors鈥� Exchange.
The addition marks the OCC's first clearing relationship with IEX and brings the OCC's total participant venues to 20 options exchanges, two futures exchanges, and one stock loan exchange.
Andrej Bolkovic, CEO of OCC, says: 鈥淚EX brings a well-established track record and a different approach to options market structure.
鈥淲e're glad to extend the same clearing and risk management standards our participants rely on every day to this new venue.鈥�
IEX has operated its equities exchange since 2016, maintaining a market share above four per cent of overall US equity trading volume and approximately 8.5 per cent of exchange-traded volume as of Q3 2026.
IEX Options launched on 2 October 2026, marking the platform's initial entry into listed options trading.
