The International Securities Lending Association (ISLA) has appointed two extra board members to balance industry representation.
Jonathan Lombardo of Eurex and Matt McDermott of Goldman Sachs were invited to join the board this week to better represent the needs of ISLA members.
ISLA CEO Andy Dyson said: 鈥淲e are of course delighted to welcome Jonathan and Matt to the ISLA board and feel that their different perspectives will add greatly to the new ISLA board.鈥
The decision comes just a week after a new ISLA board was elected for a new two-year tenure.
Andy Krangel will remain the board鈥檚 chairmen for a second term.
State Street鈥檚 Alex Lawton was also newly elected to the board during the initial election process.
Other board members for the new term include: Aviva鈥檚 Mick Chadwick, Barclay鈥檚 Mark Newton, BlackRock鈥檚 Stefan Kaiser, BNP Paribas鈥檚 David Racca and J.P. Morgan鈥檚 Duncan Wilson.
PGGM鈥檚 Roelof van de Struik, Morgan Stanley鈥檚 Martina Szameitatand and Unicredit鈥檚 Arne Theia were also re-elected.
